Day 3: Salina, Kansas

Over the river and through the woods to central continental USA we go! The Crew experienced a longer travel day yesterday (yes, I know I am slightly later with posting) with an early loading time and later arrival. We traveled through the heart of America as howling winds, road maintanence, prairie land surrounded us. On our arrival in Salina, Kansas we had our annual group meeting to discuss and clarify multiple things.

After having our choice of dinners, the Crew loaded the bus and headed for the movie theatre. As one of the biggest surprises of the trip, everyone voted to watch "The Fault in our Stars."  Very few eyes were dry and hearts untouched. We all learned a valuable lesson Monday night (coming from a Math teacher):  some infinities are larger than other infinities!

You might wonder why is there a picture of a guy wearing a "Where's Waldo" shirt on this post. Well, best explanation I can give to you is that there were major victories everywhere yesterday, including a USA men's soccer one over GHANA in the World Cup! No other group pictures were taken or posted en lieu of the travel day we had to Kansas. But stay posted for Day 4 because Colorado Springs here we come. Signing off GWT.
