The people who stay near me when walking get on the blog the most.
Always foggy... Also a Mark Twain quote is applicable; "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."

Our stop for dinner: Chinatown Restaurant
The tour last a couple of hours. Clarence had been looking forward to driving around in the tiny streets, dodging bikers, and listening to directions from a tour guide the whole trip! Clarence did a great job in navigating us around the city. Several construction sites as well as recent limitations the city of San Francisco has placed on buses caused for some detours, which just added to the number of places The Crew saw! We drove around Fisherman's Wharf, North Beach, Chinatown, and most other districts in San Francisco. We tried making it to the highest point in San Francisco but there was no use, as the fog was to heavy and it would provide little if any sight of the city. The tour guide did a great job giving facts and relevant information to The Crew as we drove around the city.
The bus dropped us off at the south entrance of the Golden Gate Bridge. The Crew could hardly hold in their excitement as the 55 degree weather coupled with the wind was a constant reminder of San Francisco's climate. The Crew did well though on our march across the bridge. Once across the bridge, Clarence met up with us and took us a few miles to the small town of Saulsalito. The Crew enjoyed lunch on their own at one of the many restaurants on the city by the sea.
Upon our arrival back at the hotel, we went over specific directions about their journey tomorrow into the city (groups of 6, public transportation, words of advice, etc.). The Crew then was allowed some free-time before we left to walk to Chinatown Restaurant. The walk with 50 some teenagers across a large city is always interesting, but The Crew did a fairly good job of keeping pace and paying attention. The food at Chinatown Restaurant was splendid. There were around 7 or 8 different plates served to each table, where each table portioned each plate out. Chinatown Restaurant was a success!
To cap the night, The Crew was again allowed a small amount of time in Fisherman's Wharf. Some went out to venture this district more while others either stayed in the hotel or went to the gym. My explanation of not having quality and enough pictures is explained (I do not know how well) by the ample amount of free time The Crew had today as well as amount of time we spent on a bus tour. Perhaps tomorrow I will do better with the pictures and the blog. Signing off GWT!
