Day 24: San Diego and La Jolla

Entrance to the zoo

No this is not a live elephant

Monkey on the glass

I wish I could grow a mustache like this

Hungry hungry hippos

This is not a mix between a deer and a zebra but if it was, would we call it a Debra?

Nice kitty

This smaller panda read my mind:  I want a hammock to lounge in!

Didn't your mom ever tell you to not eat while or shortly before swimming?

Panda is sleeping... What's with these animals?

Cool guys

Who is really the boss and who is the mini? Role reversal, aye?

These girls went in my group up to the head quarters. They fortunately/unfortunately got to be in a lot of pictures

Late night swim

We woke up this morning in Anaheim to travel to the San Diego Zoo. After the zoo, we ate lunch in a district of San Diego called Old Town at Casa Guadalara. What an amazing meal!

Next on our agenda was USS Midway. The Crew did everything from audio tours, to flight simulators, playing captain, climbing ladders, and seeing how to run an aircraft carrier. Once the USS Midway was complete, we checked in to our hotel and walked down to the Cove. A group picture was in definite need! The Crew ate dinner in La Jolla and some spent their time by the sea. It was a great day!

If you have not notice, the animated description I usually stain the blog with is somewhat vacant from this post. Viewer numbers are down and I'm trying to figure out my audience haha. Hence why I am trying something new. Signing off GWT!
