Day 21 saw another early morning wake-up, a somewhat longer drive, and a celebration of our country's independence. After leaving the hotel, we made our way to the Anabella Hotel in Anaheim, beside Disneyland. We stopped for lunch in Buttonwillow, CA and afterwards The Crew was treated to a great, practical movie on the bus: Independence Day.
As the movie ended, we literally pulled in to the hotel. The LA traffic proved to be significantly lighter than in previous years, more than likely due to the 4th. The Crew was given free time at the resort and then we left for Dave and Buster's. A very good meal precluded the action in the arcade at Dave and Buster's. We had a great time in arcade!
When we left Dave and Buster's, fireworks were going off everywhere. Finding a vantage point to see all the fireworks was almost impossible. After seeing a few fireworks, we drove back on the bus and The Crew, in a minimum of 6 per group, went to Downtown Disney to try and catch more fireworks. The Crew will be primed and ready for Saturday: Disneyland!
